It is not a year that anyone marks with any tradition but it is her birthday her 23rd year of living on this earth.
It is a day that is celebrated by one person, the birthday person.
This was the day they were born into the world to mark their mark.
To stamp their stamp.
To fulfil the purpose they were born for.
But when you say the words Happy Birthday do you think of a person being born?
Being delivered by a mother through the labours of childbirth?
Do you spare a thought for your mother on that day – the day she gave birth and life to you?
That is afterall what Happy Birthday means.
Birthdays are special times and ones we celebrate with those closest to us and each year we mark the anniversary that we have lived another year.
We have grown wiser.
We have matured.
We have lived another year of life.
But if at every birthday you were asked
Did you use the last year to make your mark on the world?
What did you do last year that your presence has made a difference in the world?
What would you say?
Les Brown says “Every year we should be asked to account for why we should be allowed to go on living for another year of our lives”.
What is the reason you are here on this earth?
Just imagine if that was the case?
What would you say when it came to your turn to explain why you deserve to live the next year on this earth?
Let’s spread the word about the digital world
